Personal Work by Gunnar Knechtel

German born photographer Gunnar Knechtel must have some interesting stories to tell. When I was browsing through his portfolio, I came across Gunnar’s personal work. This spans back from 1998 to this current day.

The variety of imagery and techniques used is really astonishing, you can tell he has a real passion for photography and loves capturing unique moments. One that stood out for me was a series shot in Brixton, England in 1999. It’s amazing to wind back the clock and see the difference in dress sense, you can literally feel the atmosphere in the photos. Very personal indeed.
