Set of Imagery from Sigurd Grunberger
I’ve not crossed the path of Copenhagen based photographer Sigurd Grunbeger before, perhaps this is because he covers mostly womenswear, but I really enjoyed browsing his portfolio this morning. He’s put together a neat little series of images for Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau which uphold quite a rugged outlook on men’s style, recently featured in Euroman Magazine.
I felt they would slot quite comfortably into our archive, especially given all the other Scandinavian creative talent we’ve got backlogged there. Sigurd’s put together some really authentic scenes, I particularly enjoyed the last image of that classic camper-van, I don’t think it would have had the same impact if it hadn’t have been shot in film.
In terms of menswear Sigur hasn’t showcased too much else aside from a few shots he’s put together for Danish fashion brand Wood Wood. I still think his page is worth a visit however, he’s got some stunning sets hiding over there and who know what the future may bring.
