I was on the prowl last night, looking at various online retailers in Japan. It gives me a chance to check out some clothing and products that us European and American folk don’t get to see. By accident I stepped on a site called ACTUS Interiors, and apart from the cracking web design, they are a company that sells interior and furniture goods. The specific idea is to aid in the development of Japanese life, with a focus on European furniture and textiles.
As I was rooting through all the different pages I came across this “Style Book” that seems to be the eighth volume in a series, this one being based on the theme of Travel. They collaborated with people who travel a lot to take a furniture piece and place it in different cities across the world, in between they’ve used fillers of interiors in various homes. I’ve picked out some of my favourite shots, if you would like to see more head over to the Actus Interior website.
