The Campagna studio is the brainchild of furniture maker and designer Cody Campanie, a third-generation woodworker in New York state who specialises in bridging the gap between architecture and crafts. His mission is to create beautiful objects made for living. He has certainly achieved that so far!

I was especially drawn to the small details in Cody’s work. By incorporating traditional joinery methods he’s able to produce seamless forms that gel perfectly. The geometric shapes tie everything together quite beautifully, matching the warmth found in the high quality wood that’s used. These are only going to develop in character and get better with age.

Cody’s architectural and design background certainly comes to play here. It shows us that sometimes the best ideas come from outside your niche and require you to reach outward to the other skill sets or knowledge bases. If you can fabricate beauty and simplicity like Campanie you are certainly on to a winner.
