New in the Shop – Kinetic Mobiles & Sculpture by Ekko Workshop

Creativity and craft has come together superbly in our newest work introduced to the shop by Ekko Workshop. Ekko Workshop consists of Ben Cogdill and Matt Richards, an industrial designer and an engineer who have more than a decade in mobile-making experience.

Using many different types of materials they have crafted kinetic sculpture that’s now being used all over the world.

Drawing inspiration from the famous artists and makers such as Alexander Calder & The Eames duo, these works are abstract in style but are exquisitely crafted. Using both handiwork techniques and machinery, Ekko is able to produce mobiles that are not just for now but are sure to be relevant for many generations to come.
