Don’t Belong Here by Alena Beljakova

Alena Beljakova is a 19 year old girl (and photographer) who lives in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

She creates artwork that provokes emotion and attention. Fusing normal subjects into weird surroundings, or using props to instil an unusual element. Also her editing really adds that extra aspect to each photo. I checked out her flickr and loved pretty much every photo, this set called Don’t Belong Here was one of her newest.

Using the idea of space helmets, she tries to create the sense of being from another planet, or not from this world. Conveying the message of loneliness and remoteness.

Check it out below and see what you think.
