Personal Work by Julie Lansom

Here’s a small collection of imagery by Paris based photographer Julie Lansom. The ones that I’ve selected here come under her ‘Personal Work’, basically random shots from different months in the year. This young lady (23 years old to be exact) is a great talent at collecting light in her photographs, half the time I’m sure it’s purposely heading towards her lens. She seems to use it perfectly to cast shadows behind the subject. I also like the way she overlaps her photography, very experimental.

She says, “I take photos because I have a shitty memory”. Which is fair enough I guess. As long as she keeps producing work like this and the work in which you see on her website, we won’t be complaining. Absolutely terrific.
