New Feature on the Danish Horn Craftsmen at Hornvarefabrikken

1-1

It’s been a while since we last released a feature, but with the New Year around the corner now seems like the perfect time. In this feature we get a glimpse inside the workshop of a historic company, in fact the only company in Denmark that’s still producing arts and crafts made out of horn.

Established in 1935, Hornvarefabrikken produce at their workshop facilities in Bovlingbjerg, making traditional tableware and accessories that will stand the test of time. I’m especially excited because our updated selection from Hornvarefabrikken includes the ‘Tradition’ series, which are all designed and made exactly like the ones seen in the photographs.

In these photos we see Pat and Sara making a spoon from start to finish, we also see the skill and many finishing processes that go in to these beautiful works. I’m really proud to be representing such unique and well made objects! We hope you enjoy this short feature and will also browse our new selection by Hornvarefabrikken in the shop.
