Imagery by Elena Ayllon

After a stint living in Tokyo, Elena Ayllon is now based back in Madrid and has some cracking work over on her portfolio. I picked out some photography from various different “sessions” that are navigable in the sidebar. I was particularly set back by the greenery in the photos, very vivid and really showcases lots of natural elements. Something that’s always refreshing to see.

As you click through her web page you may also find a little section titled “Diary”, something that’s used by a lot of photographers to show off any extra “throwaway” shots. But Elena’s approach is very different from her series photography and you can see a real contrast in terms of style. I like it all, head over to her website for more.
