Exquisite Japanese Lacquerware by Japanese Craftsman Tomoaki Nakano

After the rare arrival of Fumihiro Toda’s pottery we now have a special release of lacquerware by Tomoaki Nakano.

We have represented Tomoaki for many years now, but due to his popularity in Japan taking part in many big exhibitions we only receive works in small batches and they tend to sell out very quickly.

The lacquer spoons and the Uzumaki Tray have become a particular favourite among customers. I don’t often say this, but Tomoaki’s woodwork crosses in to the field of art thanks to the absolutely exquisite forms that are so light and smooth when held in the hand.

All pieces will be shipped out straight away apart from the Uzumaki Tray and lacquer spoons. These latter pieces be shipped out in 3-4 weeks time. Pre-order now so as not to be disappointed.
